"We are so thankful for the funding towards an all terrain wheelchair for our son Rhys From The Brian Kennedy Trust. Rhys is 6 years old and has Angelman Syndrome. As a family our outings and holidays have always proven a bit tricky due to the many restrictions on where we could go. Beach holidays have always left us sat on the nearest bit of sand to an accessible pathway however we now have endless possibilities on where we can take Rhys.

Rhys' very first outing in his new chair we were able to go on a countryside walk without even having to consider accessibility! We have an abundance of countryside walks on our doorstep and we can now experience the great outdoors together as a family. We are longing for the summer to arrive so that we can get Rhys to the beach as this is an all time favourite for him!!!

I wish we could convey just how much this means to us - our chance to experience everything that so many take for granted. Thank you to the Brian Kennedy Trust for helping to make this possible.

Log files

Log files allow us to record visitors’ use of the site.
