A Stockport trampolining and rebound therapy charity has received a welcome donation from a local charitable trust.
Jump Space, based on Hardman Street, has been able to update its popular multi-sensory room thanks to a £6,000 grant from The Brian Kennedy Trust, an organisation that aims to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged people across the region.
Director of the Trust, Linda Miles, recently visited the charity to see the brightened-up sensory room for herself, which now includes a new musical touch panel, an interactive infinity light box and a jumbo bubble tube.
Said Linda: “Jump Space is precisely the kind of charity that we are happy to help. It exists to improve the lives of disabled young people in Stockport and we are absolutely delighted to have been able to support them in this way.”
Added Jump Space coach Chris Lund: “We’re so grateful to The Brian Kennedy Trust for their generous grant. Our members love the new sensory equipment and the feedback from parents and carers has been excellent.”
